Deadlines

  • Submission of Masters´s Theses: electronically via SIS and in printed form at the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology
    • by 14 May 2026
  • Verification of fulfilment of study requirements for all years of study by the Dean's office (upon request via SIS) 
    • by 19 May 2026
  • FSE term: 1 to 5 June 2026

 

Master´s Thesis

  • The faculty provides a Thesis Template, which can be found here along with a Guide to Writing Final Theses at FFBT. Please use the template and follow the instructions provided when writing your theses.
  • A guide to submitting your thesis to SIS can be found here.
  • Students have to submit two printed copies, either hardbound or softbound (spiral binding is not permitted) at the Department of Biotechnology

 

 

Final State Examination

  • Final State Examinations are taking place from 1 June 2026 to 5 June 2026 (resit term 24 August to 4 September 2026).
  • The Biotechnology and Food Science (AN309)  - Final State Exam Topic areas can be found in the document at the bottom of this page.
  • You will find an invitation to your specific FSE date in SIS, in the "FSE (applications and invitation)" module in advance of the FSE date. The time, date, and committee are decided by the department where the FSE takes place.

Graduation Ceremony

  • The graduation ceremonies of bachelor's and master's graduates take place in the Bethlehem Chapel.
  • The master's graduation ceremonies will take place on 16 June 2026 at 9 and 11 a.m. The exact date and time will be specified in advance in the official invitation.
